Manufacturing process and product performance of stainless steel brazing


Manufacturing process:

The all stainless steel plate heat exchanger (hereinafter referred to as AlfaNova) with highly reliable performance is based on a new technology - AlfaFusion, which has been studied for many years in the field of materials and welding technology. In order to meet the market demand for compact heat exchange solutions - higher mechanical strength, stronger corrosion resistance, and higher hygiene level.

Product performance:

The result of years of research and testing is that AlfaNova's reliability has passed AlfaFusion process certification, burst inspection certification, pressure fatigue testing, temperature fatigue testing, heat transfer performance testing, and corrosion testing with outstanding performance. (1) Compared with traditional brazed heat exchangers, AlfaNova has higher design pressure and stronger mechanical and thermal fatigue resistance. The comparison with copper and nickel brazed heat exchangers is shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3. In the 0-3MPa mechanical fatigue experiment, the lifespan of AlfaNova is 10 times that of copper brazed heat exchangers, and is two orders of magnitude higher than that of nickel brazed heat exchangers. The temperature that Al2FaNova can withstand can reach 550 ℃, while the maximum design temperature for ordinary brazed heat exchangers is only 225 ℃. (2) The 100% stainless steel construction of AlfaNova ensures its high resistance to corrosion. In this way, AlfaNova is a significant technological breakthrough for refrigeration systems that require the use of natural working fluids such as ammonia (such as evaporators, economizers, oil coolers, etc.) or other media systems that are corrosive to copper.
